Workshop Controller - Monday to Friday Days

Our franchised main dealer are looking for a Workshop Controller to join their team in Cardiff.

This role is working Monday to Friday days, with flexible working hours to suit the right candidate, paying up to £32,000.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Workshop Controller is an integral role within any depot.

Workshop Controller Duties:

·Allocating work to technicians in the workshop
·Work to targets for labour hours, costs and standard repair times
·Working to company KPI's
·Liaising with Service reception on progress of all work
·Authorising extensions for jobs
·Quality checking all work and job packs
·Maintaining Health and Safety at all times in the workshop
·Driving consistently high performance

Workshop Controller Skills and experience:

·Experience working within a supervisory role within commercial vehicle workshop
·A strong mechanical understanding
·Ability to control costs
·Ability to plan and schedule work to tight time constraints
·An approachable and helpful manner when dealing with technicians
·The successful applicant does not need to have previously worked as a Technician
·Would also suit a Technician with some supervisory experience looking for a step-up
·Fleet Management experience would also be considered for this role
·Experience working as a Workshop Controller would be a distinct advantage
