HGV Mechanic & Workshop Supervisor Fareham

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced workshop supervisor mechanic your time will be split 70/30
Carrying out basic mechanical repairs to all types of Commercial Vehicle from Van to 40’ Trailer.
Daily checks on all Repair & Paintwork jobs to ensuring work flows though workshops smoothly keeping the ECD and quality in mind
Keeping Sales Department updated with progress of vehicle
Implementing and using LEAN processes throughout
Take photos and drawings of jobs for future reference, with precise measurements and keep a detailed filing system for the Production department to refer to in the future as required
Assisting in manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard
Planning Workshop loading and discussing this with the drivers
Qualifications and Skills
This role would suit an applicant that has Mechanical Experience and wants to use this position to progress in a Managerial Role within the Company in the future.
If you have experience in Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Repairs
If you have planning experience in the Motor Vehicle Industry
If you have Man Management Skills in the Motor Industry
