WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR / WORKSHOP CONTROLLER
Basic Salary: £25,000pa - £28,000pa + OTE
Area: Basingstoke

My client is looking for a Warranty Administrator / Workshop Controller to work at a well-known dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the opportunity to build their skills.

General Duties; Warranty
·Work all dealers’ claims completely, daily
·Booking claims
·Closing claims
·Submitting claims for payment
·Invoicing claims
·Filing paperwork
·Accounting and clearing differences in payment
·Maintaining a clean warranty receivable schedules regularly to ensure proper cash flow to dealer clients
·Maintaining appropriate certifications and knowledge of updated P&P
·Help dealership stay compliant with manufacturer’s policy
·Managing and disposing of parts
·Inbound and outbound calls

General Duties; Workshop
·Determine availability of workshop hours daily & communicate regularly
·You will possess the skills to be organised and the ability to engage and motivate people and manage the day to day tasks
·Maintain progress information of each job allocated & liaise with Technicians to ensure customers are kept informed
·Monitor all workshop orders through the parts department, keeping ahead of outstanding work & parts on order
·Managing bookings, dealing with customers, creating invoices, handling customer payments
·Managing Technicians work allocation and liaising with the body shop and insurance companies.
·Ensure all applicable paperwork is passed onto, and administered by, the appropriate department
·Pass on all documentation for completed work to Tester & organise any extra work if necessary
Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times whilst also motivating your team.
Essentials;
·Previous experience with running a Workshop
·Previous experience with Warranty
·Able to manage a team of Technicians
·Able to motivate a team
·Driven to succeed

The successfully candidate will work well within a team, have excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The successfully candidate must also be organised and punctual with a drive to succeed, ensuring maximum efficiency and utilisation of time. The ideal candidate will also have experience on running a Workshop with a team of Technicians, be able to motivate themselves and their teams in the busiest and high pressured environments and be driven to succeed in all aspects of the job.
