VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC
Based in BARNET
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 Basic + OTE UP TO £35,000 (Salary dependent on experience)
OVERTIME paid on Saturdays

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Automotive Vehicle Technician / Mechanic looking for an opportunity to develop their career with a successful brand franchise in Barnet.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful brand. As our Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for the service and routine maintenance and preparation of all kinds of vehicles ensuring all work is carried out to manufacturer standards.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Duties

·To service and repair and diagnose all vehicles to the highest standard possible
·Identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards.
·Occasional diagnostic work
·Dealing with recalls and warranties
·Maintain a good level of efficiency without compromising quality
·Ensuring complete customer satisfaction
·Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.
·Detect and diagnose and additional faults for further repair
·Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with professional standards
·Fulfil all tasks to the customers’ complete satisfaction
·Always work to your best ability to promote and maintain a very high standard of customer care
·Excellent customer service skills
·Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
·Experience and competency in the accurate use of IT equipment

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Skills & Qualifications

·Relevant, Automotive City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 - 4 Qualification
·Large Independent Garage or Dealership experience
·Good longevity in your career history
·A full Driving Licence
·Your own set of Tools

LEVEL 3 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic and dealership experience is essential

The successful candidate will work well within a team, have excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
