MECHANIC / VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
BASIC SALARY: £30,000pa
PLUS ACHIEVABLE OTE/COMMISSION

We are seeking an experienced and helpful LEVEL 3 MECHANIC / VEHICLE TECHNICIAN to join our happy, forward thinking friendly team!

A large part of the Mechanic / Vehicle Technician position involves:

·As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for all types of jobs, such as diagnostic repair, service and maintenance of all kinds of vehicles ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards
·Communicating with the Workshop Manager.
·Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
·Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
·Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
·Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
·Capable of providing a clear hand written description of the work carried out.

Qualifications and must haves for the Mechanic / Vehicle Technician:

·Great attitude and be a team player
·Clear communicator, as need to explain and train younger vehicle technicians
·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification)
·Preferably with MOT but not essential

As the Mechanic / Vehicle Technician - We expect you to demonstrate the following:

·An eye for detail.
·Ability to work under pressure
·Quality awareness.
·Communication skills
·Full driving licence
