VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for a main dealership based in Livingston

Basic Salary: £25,000pa – £33,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm / No Saturdays!

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Diagnostics Vehicle Technician position has risen for a car dealership in Livingston.

The job includes work that ranges from servicing to diagnostics. You must be able to work within a dealership environment as part of a close-knit, family run team, with great technical skills and a calm working head. The right person for the role is professional, confident and reliable and the motivation and drive to train and progress further. Will need experience in diagnosing complex faults and have basic computer skills.

The dealership will provide a great basic salary with excellent OTE opportunities and additional training with the goal to progress you to further technician status (if you choose too). The workshop is team based and a noble, encouraging working environment with a highly popular dealership that enjoy progressing internally and train you further.

Skills & Qualifications of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

·Experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician at a dealership
·Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualified (or equivalent)
·A desire to progress, improve and open to qualify further
·At least 10 years’ experience as a Technician / Mechanic within the motor industry
