Vehicle Technician required for independent garage based in Glasgow
Salary: £22,000pa - £30,000pa basic

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a fantastic team in an independent garage based in Glasgow.
As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records, all whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

We are looking for multi-skilled technicians who can effectively service and conduct MOT and vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards to a high standard at all times on a wide range of vehicles.

For this position it is crucial that you have a Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair and ideally an active MOT Licence

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm / Saturdays on rota 8:30am - 1:00pm

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·Active and clean DVSA license MOT Class 4 +7 (preferred but not essential)
·Knowledge on current MOT standards
·Main Dealership / independent experience (3 years minimum)
·Full Clean UK Drivers licence Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
