Vehicle Technician required for main dealership based in Derby.
Salary: £22,000pa - £25,000 basic OTE £32,000pa + yearly loyalty bonus (£1000!)

Our client, a main dealership is looking for a positive and motivated vehicle technician with a strong work ethic to join their expanding team. This is a new and modern site with top of the range facilities.

As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks, warranty repairs, PDI Checks, fault finding issues and issuing maintenance checks according to franchise guidelines, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records, all whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

We are looking for a vehicle technician who is a team player and who can be varied in their role as duties will include a mixture of diagnostic and repair. Ideally you will come from a main dealership background, however the client is willing to look at vehicle technicians with a positive working attitude who are keen to get into a main dealership.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm /Saturdays on rota 8:30am - 1:00pm

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·2 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment
·A team player who can adapt into a positive working environment
·Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out servicing and repairs
