Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Salary: £26,000pa - £29,000 basic + OTE / BONUS £32,000
Location: Westbury

Our client is looking for an experienced vehicle technician / mechanic who can be flexible within their work approach. Ideally you will come from a dealership background with strong diagnostics knowledge behind you.

We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work, working alongside a fantastic team. If you are able to hit the ground running in a role quickly, as well as consistently working to high standards at all times, then this position is for you!

General Duties for Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:

·Servicing and resolving the most challenging problems
·Diagnostic work and identifying any faults, making improvements and keep up to date records whilst meeting demanding quality and safety standards
·Dealing with recalls and warranties
·Maintaining a good level of efficiency, but being realistic with your work load
·Ensuring Customer Satisfaction is always at its highest
·Have a clear understanding on all aspects of your work
·Ensure all work is completed safety, and reaches professional standards
·Always work to the best of your ability
·Stay consistence with your Customer Service, even in the most pressuring circumstances
·Takes responsibility for your work
·Work well within a team, but also be able to motivate and focus on your own

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·Main Dealership / Large independent experience
·Valid MOT Licence (preferred but not essential)
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs preferred
