EXPERIENCED VEHICLE TECHNICIAN (LEVEL 3)
SALARY £21,000k - £25,000k (Salary is depending on experience) + OTE £33,000pa
LOCATION: SOUTHAMPTON

As a Motor Vehicle Technician you’ll spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining vehicles to the high standards set out in our Health and Safety policy. It involves carrying out inspections, repairs and services, checking vehicles against legislation, and handling and storing parts.

You’ll also need to make sure all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are completed, that paperwork is accurate and up to date. You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and that a high level of productivity is maintained. Analysis, diagnostics and road testing vehicles are also a critical part of this role. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience.

A large part of the Technician position involves:

Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Qualification
Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Manager.
Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
Capable of providing a clear hand written description of the work carried out.
