Location: Oldbury
Salary: Up to £30,000pa (including competitive salary & job related bonus / commission)

We are recruiting for Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, to work for established and successful  site in Birmingham.
The right person will be a team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies. Your main responsibilities will be to carry out maintenance and repair work following our standard procedures and using Group diagnostic equipment.

Vehicle Technician Qualifications: 

·Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent.
·You must have previous experience working as a Technician within the Automotive Industry and be a strong team player with a self-motivation. 

· Experience of working in a branded car dealership would be desirable

As a Vehicle Technician your key responsibilities will be:

·  Accurately and skilfully undertake diagnosis, repairs and servicing of motor vehicles to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
·  Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
·  Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
·  Work with other departments in the retailer to facilitate the servicing and repair of vehicles
·  Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
·  Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines 
·  Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
·  Help retailer achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency

The ideal vehicle technician will have a genuine enthusiasm for working on vehicles and a passion for a high standard of work. Having an eye for detail and accuracy is essential, as is a positive and self-motivating approach.
