Vehicle Technician

Location: Stafford, West Midlands

Salary: Upto £30,000pa including OTE/BONUS

We are recruiting for:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well established dealership in Stafford.

The right person will be a team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

·To road test vehicles and diagnose problems as and when required.
· To carry out routine servicing, warranty repairs, diagnosis of vehicle problems and general maintenance of vehicles as required.
·To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of Franchise vehicles.
·To take an active part in upholding the companies Health and Safety policy.
·To ensure vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customer or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
·To talk directly to customers when required.
·To undertake Manufacturers Training Courses as advised by the Service Manager.

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

·You must have previous experience working as a Technician within the Automotive Industry and be a strong team player with a self-motivation
·You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ L3 or ATA)
·Have the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing
·Be conversant with current diagnostic equipment
·Hold a full and valid UK driving licence
