Vehicle Technician needed for a main dealership in Stockport

Basic Salary: £25,000pa - £28,000pa BONUS/OTE £30,000

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for all types of jobs such as repair, service and maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. Duties will be split between Diagnostics and servicing cars. Full understating of electrical and warranty issues and how to resolve them. Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion and the ability to work multiple diagnostic programs. Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge you will be capable of providing a clear hand-written description of the work carried out. Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals and maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work. In return you will receive a competitive salary and bonus commission Industry led training development and support state of the art workshops.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm / Saturdays (1 in 2) 8.30am – 12.30pm

Qualifications of a Vehicle Technician:

·Great attitude and be a team player.
·Clear communicator, as need to explain and train younger vehicle technicians.
·Level 2 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification).
·Qualify, diagnose and find a solution for all car issues
·Have an eye for detail
·Ability to work under pressure
·Quality awareness
·Communication skills
·Full driving licence
