VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Vehicle Technician required for our dealership client in Wakefield

Salary: £22,000pa - £25,000 basic OTE £30,000pa

Our client, a dealership is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a great attitude to join their expanding team. We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a service role, carrying out general service and repairs. Applicants from an independent background are welcome, however dealership would be preferable.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and general repair, fault finding issues and issuing maintenance checks according to franchise guidelines, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained. We are looking for someone who can be varied in their role as duties will also include assisting MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records.
Working hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm Saturday (Rota) 8:30am - 12:30pm
Essential Skills & Qualifications of a Vehicle Technician
·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·1 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment - ideally dealership
·Valid MOT Licence (preferred but not essential)
·Experience within a VAG / Prestige dealership an advantage
·Ability to work as part of a team
·Have a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding
