VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Vehicle Technician required for our dealership client in Belfast

Basic Salary £21,000pa to £25,000pa plus BONUS & OTE

The right candidate for the role will be a proactive, consistent and efficient Vehicle Technician with an attention to detail in all their work.

The job the requires you to have a Level 3 Qualification as a Vehicle Technician. You will be obligated to work in ranges from servicing a vehicle to general vehicle repair. You must be able to work within a dealership environment as part of an active and busy team, with good technical skills. The Vehicle Technician will diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic tools, conduct routine services and repairs, communicate with reception regarding job progress and complete VCR, ensuring all job cards are forwarded to reception, as well as conducting warranty repairs.

The most important thing to our client is that the Vehicle Technician be experienced, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong knowledge of parts. The successful applicant will benefit from a busy working environment, receiving on the job training alongside a competitive salary and career progression.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Skills and Qualifications of a Vehicle Technician

·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
·Previous Vehicle Technician experience within the automotive industry (3 years minimum)
·Flexible approach to work and a full understanding of customer satisfaction
·Have skills in many areas – general services, basic diagnostics etc
·Good attitude and a time-conscious individual
·Full clean UK Driving Licence
