VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Vehicle Technician required for our automotive client in Kirkcaldy

Basic Salary £22,000pa to £26,000pa plus BONUS & OTE

The right candidate for the role will be a proactive, consistent and efficient Vehicle Technician with an attention to detail in all their work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The job the requires you to have a Level 3 Qualification as a Vehicle Technician. You will be obligated to work in ranges from servicing a vehicle to general vehicle repair. You must be able to work within a dealership environment as part of an active and busy team, with good technical skills. The Vehicle Technician will deliver a high level of workshop performance and efficiency with their services and repairs, they will approach jobs with a breadth of knowledge completing job cards with detailed description. The Vehicle Technician will also provide specialist diagnostic and technical support. In return the successful applicant will receive training to progress to a Master Technician, within a family run friendly business with high staff retention and satisfaction.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5:30pm and Saturdays (paid as overtime) 8am – 12:30pm

Skills and Qualifications of a Vehicle Technician

·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
·Previous Vehicle Technician experience within the automotive industry (3 years minimum)
·Flexible approach to work and a full understanding of customer satisfaction
·Have skills in many areas – general services, basic diagnostics etc
·Good attitude and a time-conscious individual
·Full clean UK Driving Licence
