Prep Vehicle Technician required for prestige dealership based in Newbury.
Salary: £24,000pa - £27,000pa basic OTE £31,000pa

Our client, a highly prestigious main dealership is seeking an experienced Prep Vehicle Technician who shares their passion for top quality customer service and commitment to customer safety.

As a Prep vehicle technician you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs and PDI's on used vehicles. This will include diagnosing standard faults and carrying out repairs to manufacturer standards. As an experienced Prep Vehicle Technician you will be expected to work independently within a busy, high pressure environment whilst reporting faults and service requirements to workshop controller when necessary.

This Prep vehicle technician opportunity is ideal for an individual who is looking to progress their career within a prestigious dealership environment, and has the ability to work to and achieve targets and objectives.

Working hours: 42.5 hours a week Monday - Friday / 1 in 2 Saturdays on rota 8:30am - 12:30pm.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician role:

·Level 2-3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·Experience on prepping used cars within an automotive workshop environment (1 year minimum)
·Main Dealership / Large independent experience (prestige experience an advantage)
·Good professionalism and ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding
