Vehicle Technician required for main dealership in Carlisle
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000pa basic OTE £29,000pa

Our client, a main dealership is looking for a flexible vehicle technician with a great attitude to join their expanding team.

As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks, warranty repairs, PDI Checks, fault finding issues and issuing maintenance checks according to franchise guidelines, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records, all whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

We are looking for a vehicle technician who can be varied in their role as duties will include general service and repair work and MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records.
This role will mainly involve servicing vehicles to a high standard, but a strong diagnostics background will be a huge advantage.
Essential Skills & Qualifications for Service Vehicle Technician role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·1 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment
·MOT Licence preferred
·Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out servicing and repairs
