Service Vehicle Technician required for Prestige Dealership in Wakefield

Salary: £22,000pa - £25,000 basic OTE £30,000pa

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm (Dependent on shift) / 1 in 2 Saaturday on Rota 8:30am - 12:30pm

Our client, a prestige dealership is looking for an experienced vehicle service technician with a great attitude to join their expanding team. We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a service role, carrying out general service and repairs.

As a service vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and general repair, fault finding issues and issuing maintenance checks according to franchise guidelines, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained. We are looking for someone who can be varied in their role as duties will also include assisting MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·1 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment
·Valid MOT Licence (preferred but not essential)
·Experience within a VAG / Prestige dealership an advantage
·Ability to work as part of a team
·Have a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding
