Vehicle Technician 

Vehicle Enhancement Technician 
Salary upto: £29,500
Location: Dartford


Skilled & experienced car body and mechanical technician required for full time vacancy for a Vehicle Enhancement Centre, where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are being built to fleet customers’ specifications. It is a young and dynamic environment and as the company continues on its rapid growth.

Main duties: 
·To be responsible for all aspects of technical processes on all new motor vehicles to defined standards as set by the customer.
·To complete and ensure that all warranty paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
·To ensure that a high level of quality is followed throughout the warranty process as set out by the customer.
·To liaise closely with the Third Party Technical Department in relation to all warranty/service measures to be carried out on all new vehicles.
·To undertake any PDI work as and when required.
·To ensure all production requirements are met on a daily basis by yourself and your department.
·To attend Third Party training courses either based on site or at their training venue.
·To be able to undertake the fitting of any vehicle accessory as required and within your capability.
·To report and rectify any vehicle defects that may be found whilst undertaking the above.
·To ensure all VEC processes are followed to a high standard within your department.
·To adhere to all Health & Safety rules and to undertake Health & Safety sampling when required.
·To attend meetings and train/instruct other members of staff as and when required.

Requirements: 
We are looking for an organised team member who must: 
·Desirable to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an automotive body-shop /warranty environment.
·Health & Safety ISOH qualification
·be able to work well under pressure
·be decisive and meet deadlines
·have a high degree of flexibility
·have good communication skills with all levels of management and staff
·be able to work on their own initiative
