Job Role: Van Technician / Van Mechanic

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £37,440 basic salary + Overtime & Bonus - Yearly earnings on target of £45,000 - £50,000

Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 15:00 Week One / 15:00 - 00:00 Week Two

My client, a well-established HGV & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an experienced Van Technician / Van Mechanic on an early / late shift rotation at my clients site in Tipton, West Midlands.

Working in an established team of LCV Technicians /  LCV Mechanics, you will be required to undertake the following;

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections
• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful LCV Technician / Van Mechanic will have the following attributes;


Hold full industry qualifications (L3 City & Guilds or NVQ). However, my client will consider L2 qualified candidates with detailed experience in the industry.
Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Light Commercial Vehicle maintenance and repair
A full driving licence will be required for the particular role
