TYRE FITTER / VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
SALARY £24,000 - £27,500 OTE / Bonus
LOCATION: PERTH

Our successful client is seeking and experienced and professional Tyre Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician who will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills.

A large part of the job will involve fitting tyres for the winter months, alongside other fast fitting jobs. The ideal candidate will also have a valid MOT Licence in order to help with vehicle testing within the team

Duties and Responsibilities for Tyre Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician

·Repairing & fitting tyres in accordance with the client's guidelines
·Removing & refitting tyres and components in accordance with the companies' high standards.
·Fixing brakes, exhausts
·Diagnosing customer needs by listening, responding and explaining work required to ensure vehicle is in road worthy condition
·Servicing and fixing minor faults
·Road testing
·Understanding and adhere to the company's policies and procedures in all aspects of work
·Someone who supports and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities
·Undertaking the necessary training and skills development

As a Tyre Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician you must have:

·Candidates must be qualified to Level 2 - 3 City & Guilds or NVQ, IMI standards or equivalent.
·You must have your own tools and a current full driving licence
·Good Mechanical & Vehicle knowledge and understanding
·Valid MOT Licence
·Experience of working within a mechanical environment
·Excellent spoken and written English
·Computer literacy
·Numeracy skills

The successfully candidate will work well within a team, have excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
