Transport Manager
Transport Manager required in
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Manager with previous experience and the drive to provide high quality customer service and cost-effective service to customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation and control of all fleet and compliance measures, alongside ensuring proficient use of transport resources.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
·Forward planning for MOT's and servicing
·Provide leadership, give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers and operatives i.e. review KPI's service, safety and profitability.
·Vehicle Management - Ensuring fleet is compliant by monitoring all safety checks/inspections, vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
·Review and analyse driver hours and keep a record of any infringements.
·Maintaining accurate administrative records.
·MUST have a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage
·Strong Team-Player
·Proven leadership abilities
·Passion for customer service
·Good PC/Systems skills experience
·MUST have experience of managing contracts
·MUST have experience of container transport - with relevant port experience
·Preferable to have HGV Class 1 license (However NOT Essential)
