My client is a leading Commercial Vehicle Dealer based in the North West.
This is a mobile role, working out their Depot in Northwich.

The Trailer Fitter role involves:

Fitting parts to trailers with use of hand and power tools, working from memory and drawings on a different range of trailers, getting them ready for MOT and repairing and fixing broken parts on trailers.
Experience needed:
·Experience of working on trailers is essential
·Experience of mechanics is essential
·Experience of working with wiring and fitting parts
·Experience of working in within the truck and bus industry
·Must be good with hands and problem solving
·Must have a good eye for detail


Essential for this Trailer Fitter role:

·Level 3 or equivalent
·Carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly trailers but also HGV and LGV.
·Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable.
·HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
