VEHICLE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 + EXCELLENT OTE (Salary dependent on experience / efficiency)

Our client is seeking a LEVEL 2 /3 Vehicle Technician who will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills. You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product.

As a Vehicle Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for the service and routine maintenance and preparation of all kinds of vehicles ensuring all work is carried out to manufacturer standards.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
·Minimum Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Qualification
·Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Manager.
·Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
·Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
·Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
·Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
·Capable of providing a clear hand written description of the work carried out.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·Dealership experience or Large Independent experience
·3 years experience as a service technician out of apprenticeship
·MOT License preferable
·Aptitude for multi-tasking.
·An eye for detail.
·Ability to work under pressure.
·Good work history
·Quality awareness.
·Communication skills.
·Full driving licence.
