VEHICLE SERVICE ADVISOR
SALARY BASIC £20,000pa OTE BONUS £26,000pa plus
LOCATION: EDINBURGH

Do you like working with Cars and the automotive industry?

Are you motivated to hit monthly targets in a busy, exciting, fast paced environment?

You will work within our friendly aftersales team supporting our Service Department and its customers through the various services we provide for our manufacturers. Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department

The Service Advisor duties and responsibilities:

·Booking cars into the aftersales department for servicing
·Informing customers of the progress of their car and any issues
·Advising on technical queries or issues
·Cross selling and upselling customer repairs and parts
·Finalising and processing the invoice on completion of required work
·Help contribute towards the team's daily workload.
·Processing invoices, paperwork and customer details.
·Liaising directly with customers providing excellent customer service.
·Maintaining, creating and changing the database.
·Be able to maintain a high consistency and quality of work.
·Communicating in a confidential, professional and appropriate manner.
·Continually develop your personal skills and knowledge.
·Performance measures will include Customer Satisfaction Scores and feedback to the department

 

The Service Advisor must be able to conduct the following:


·The ability to work independently and in a team within a busy, pressurised environment is essential
·Building customer relationships and communication skills are of extremely important
·Technical skills and experience are essential
·The successful applicant will be self-motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service
·Someone who will enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Services department
·A flexible approach to the role is required as the opportunity to become involved in other areas of the business is possible
·The ideal candidate must have Service Advisor experience from within the Automotive trade
·You must be well presented and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
·You must be IT literate
