SERVICE ADVISOR (DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Salary: Up to £25,000 basic + EXCELLENT OTE

Location: Spelthorne / Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor looking to join a busy team Main Dealership. To maximise service department profitability ensuring customer awareness of all available workshop services. To ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
Working as a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience ensuring that all work carried out is communicated in a clear and precise manner. Selling additional products, services and repair work is essential to maintain profitability and meet targets set. You must have the ability to up sell and have a consultative approach to selling.

SERVICE ADVISOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·Build positive relationships with the customer updating them frequently and reacting quickly to resolve any issues or variations to promise.
·Sell extra work to the customer, explaining the requirement and selling the benefits, gain authority to proceed
·Maintain effective communication with customers (internal and external), Service Centre Manager and workshop colleagues
·Continually communicate with the Service Manager to identify extra work and to monitor progress
·Complete invoices accurately, clearly and quickly. Check that all authorised work has been completed and charged. Handle all forms of payment accurately. Complete daily transaction reports timely and accurately
·Collect customer data for the Service Centre marketing database
·Ensure customer comments are fed back to appropriate people
·Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards
·Agree appropriate vehicle collection and delivery arrangements with customers
·Ensure allocated work is correctly programmed and that accurate information is passed to the workshop
·Ensure flow of work through the workshop is smooth and profitable, allocating workload subject to availability and competence of technicians to maximise productivity

SERVICE ADVISOR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·A passion for the motor trade
·Main dealership / large independent experience within service
·Ability to deal with a high volume of customers whilst maintaining a positive attitude
·Knowledge of dealership systems Kerridge / DMS / 1 link desirable
·Evidence of sales achievements / up selling products

STRONG UPSELLING EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO WORK IN A BUSY ENVIRONMENT ESSENTIAL
