Senior Service Advisor

Cardiff

My Client, a Commercial main dealer with franchised branches across Wales, are looking for a Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor to join their team in Cardiff.

Objectives of the Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor

The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will supervise the Service Advisor team on a daily basis to ensure a successful balance between the customers needs and the interest of the company are met.
They will ensure customer satisfaction through professional manner, using their ability to remain reassuring to the customer during difficult situations.

The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will be reporting to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor

·Daily supervision of the service advisor team, to include the Central Booking Advisor
·The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will ensure that all incoming calls are answered within the time scales required to achieve manufacturer bonus
·Booking in of vehicles to ensure continuity of workshop loading using XPP, ensuring that expected lead times are met
·Ensuring customer excellence is delivered at all times to include the whole customer journey; offering mobility solutions to the customer
·Updating and informing customers of their ongoing vehicle status
·The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will attend update handover meetings during the day with workshop control
· Engage in the VHC & Service Contract process to all van customers
·Customer account management
·Updating of customer date on every visit to ensure accuracy of CRM
·To raise job packs using XPP for each vehicle, ensuring that all required supporting documentation / checks have been completed and recorded
·The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will need to give customers detailed explanations on extent of repairs
·Monitoring whether repairs are being carried out to the required delivery time
·Discussing and arranging payment with customers
·Provide advice on warranties and service requirements
·In the case of legally required inspections, explaining the necessary vehicle test requirements
·Handing over finished vehicles to customers
·Arrange schedules for MOT / Vehicle inspections; ensuring truck file compliance at all times
·Any disciplinary level of staff management to be referred to the Service Manager

·Ability to supervise and make decisions within a pressure environment
·The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will be an active listener, have the ability to communicate and generate enthusiasm within a team environment
·Has no difficulty adapting to a range of people showing varied patterns of behaviour
·Commitment / willingness to ensure customer expectations are achieved

Key Performance Measures of the Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor

·Effectively and polity liaising with customers regarding vehicle bookings to ensure that manufacturer time scales are met and bonus is achieved to include: Phone calls answered in 3 rings and correct salutation on answering phone call
·The Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor will deliver customer excellence at all times ensuring that all aspects of the customer journey are provided in order to achieve company bonus: Mobility offering different lead times and up sell of VHC and service contracts


This Senior Service Advisor / Service Advisor Supervisor role will require someone who has experience with in this field. You will come from a Service Advisor role in a dealer and ideally have experience stepping up and assisting a team.
You will need Kerridge experience and be organised and disciplined.
