PSV Technician
My client, one of the Midlands leading Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders is looking to employ an experienced PSV Technician / HGV Technician / PCV Technician / PSV Fitter

As a PSV Technician / HGV Technician / PCV Technician / PSV Fitter you will work in a productive and efficient manner, ensuring quality of workmanship and production finish. This will sustain the confidence the customer has in our ability to deliver an excellent service.
The Role of the PSV Technician / HGV Technician / PCV Technician / PSV Fitter:
·Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
·Assist in the fault diagnosis process and carry out repairs on engines, gearboxes brakes, suspension systems etc.
·Completing paperwork; such as job cards and service sheets
·Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
·Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.
·Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your Workshop Controller.
·Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence).
Qualifications and experience required
·City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
·Ideally you will be have completed an apprenticeship where you have gained experience working on commercial vehicles such as Volvo, Scania, DAF, Mercedes, Iveco, Buses and Coaches
·IT literate.
Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a PSV Technician / HGV Technician / PCV Technician / PSV Fitter

Holding a PSV Licence would be a clear advantage.

This is a Day shift:

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30
