PREPERATION CENTRE MANAGER / WORKSHOP CONTROLLER
BASED IN CROYDON
SALARY: £30,000 BASIC + OTE £37,000

My client is seeking a prep centre manager / workshop controller who understands the demands of a main dealer and the ability to meet the high standards that this position brings. You will possess the skills to be organised and the ability to engage and motivate your team, whilst maintaining the work technicians receive through the workshop.

PREP CENTRE / WORKSHOP CONTROLLER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·As part of this exciting role, you will be expected to achieve performance and financial objectives and maximum profitability through the sales of parts and labour - ensuring sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements.

·You will be working with sister sites agreeing smooth logistics and timescales to fully prepare all car stocks ready for onward delivery.

·To ensure efficiency of all departments and colleagues, managing the orderly receiving of stocks, storage of vehicles to onward delivery - working with sister sites when stocks exceed the space available in a timely manner.

·To drive the highest possible levels of internal Customer Satisfaction and ensure that customer satisfaction is number one at all times.

·Ensuring your team is as strong and dynamic as can be - You will be leading a motivated and productive team and you will be ensuring that the team is consistently driven forward, advising the team on how any issues can be resolved and ensure performance is the best team.

·Coach and develop the job related skills of the team through regular and measured training activities Budget Management: Achieve all sales and profit objectives for the Centre.

·To monitor and maintain the effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives.

PREP CENTRE / WORKSHOP CONTROLLER SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·Must have evidential proof that you are able to run a productive workshop
·Main Dealer experience as a workshop controller
·Great understanding of a workshop
·Must be able to demonstrate leadership and identify problems within the workshop and understand how to fix them
·Understanding of health and safety - always adhering to company standards
·Must have a CAN DO attitude with the ability to prioritise / organise work to ensure the workshop runs smoothly
