My client has been established for over 30 years. They are a family run business who have built on 2 key elements; Understanding our customer’s ever-changing requirements and client loyalty.
Along with customer satisfaction they now have a substantial client base throughout the North of England
The Parts Assistant Role:
·Ensuring the workshop time is fully utilised, calculating charges for parts, labour, service repairs and providing necessary estimates to customers. Finalising the outcome with the customer and collecting payment.
·Advising customers on technical queries / issues and supporting them both over the phone and face to face.
·Establishing a clear understanding of symptoms / problems the customer is experiencing with their vehicle and liaise accordingly with the Technicians.
·Taking bookings for courtesy cars and checking them in and out with each customer.
·Advising of and selling additional work required to be carried out.
·Communicating technical information in a clear and concise way.
·Liaison with the Workshop, suppliers and warranty companies.
·Booking in vehicle services, MOT's, and repairs.
·Maintaining up to date documentation.
Previous experience for the Parts advisor
·Have motor trade experience
·Be presentable, have a professional approach and be self-motivated
·Be computer literate with attention to detail
·Have excellent communication skills
·Work well within a team as well as being able to work on their own initiative
·Be able to work efficiently, with accuracy and be able to meet deadlines
