Parts Advisor

Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £27,000pa up to £29,000pa

Working hours: 50 hours per week
Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 22:00pm
Saturday (every other) 08:00am - 13:00pm

Our client requires an experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Picker / Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor for their Depot in the Sittingbourne.
As a Commercial Vehicle Parts Picker / Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor you will Reporting to the Parts Manager to support the services offered to our customers while meeting the standards.

Responsibilities for Parts Picker / Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor:

·To make sure all parts are accurately and promptly picked and despatched.
·To accurately return parts to the correct shelf location when no longer required.
·To keep the Warehouse and Serving areas clean and tidy.
·Dispose of Department rubbish in correct bins/skips.
·To assist the Warehouse team in the return of surcharge units back to Supplier.
·To assist the Warehouse team in locating and maintaining the warranty / r&m storage, and complete disposals and returns as requested.
·To carry out occasional deliveries.

Key requirements for Parts Picker / Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor:

·Good interpersonal and communication skills
·Ability to read, write and identify Part numbers and descriptions
·Ability to work under pressure
·Previous parts department/stock control experience an advantage but not essential
