Parts Advisor

Monday to Friday 07:00am to 5:00pm
Alternate Saturday mornings 08:00am to 12:00pm
£21,000 to £22,000 per annum
Full time, permanent role with opportunities to progress and develop

My client has a nationwide fleet of 5,000 vehicles and a product range of over 80 various vehicle types and sizes. They are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PARTS ADVISOR:

·Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need
·Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
·Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
·Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
·Informing customers of any current special offers and progressing stock orders in a timely manner
·Calling suppliers to negotiate best price on parts

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PARTS ADSVISOR:

·Related experience in a parts department preferred
·Excellent customer service skills
·Professional appearance and work ethic
·Ability to work well in a process driven environment
·Valid driver license (preferred but not essential)
