MOT TESTER / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Experienced MOT Tester / Service Technician required for main dealership in Glasgow

Basic Salary: £21,000pa BONUS/OTE: up to £24,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm / Saturdays (on rota) 8.30am – 12.30pm
 Additional hours available between March and September

Our client is seeking an experienced MOT Tester / Service Technician to join their fantastic team in a main dealership in Glasgow.

We are looking for a vehicle technician / MOT Tester who can be varied in their role as duties will include general service and repair work and MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records. You will need to have an adaptable approach to work provided as there will be general vehicle work needed if MOT Testing is quiet. Our client is seeking someone with a mature attitude and flexible with work load.

You will also be involved in helping to train and develop staff so being able to work as part of a team is crucial.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair
·Main Dealership / Large independent experience
·Valid MOT Licence
·Ability to work as part of a team
·Have a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Be target driven, self-motivated and hardworking
·Able to work independently and as part of a team
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
