MOT Tester

Location: Northampton
Salary:
£12.50 per hour standard 40 hours a week
£13.50 per hour time served BONUS

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm / 8:30am - 5:00pm
1 in 3 Saturday morning at 1.5 hourly rate

Our client, a well-established Vehicle repair centre, is looking to employ and experienced MOT Tester / Mechanic / Technician with light commercial experience to join their team in Northampton.

The role of a MOT Tester / Mechanic / Technician includes testing tyres, wheel alignment, exhausts, batters, welding, cutting, basic and advanced knowledge of suspension and brakes.

Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly, and deadlines are met making sure all vehicles are tested in accordance with legal standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for MOT Tester / Mechanic / Technician role:

·Valid MOT Licence Class 7
·Light Commercial Vehicle experience required
·Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
·A genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service
·Qualified to NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds
