Mobile HGV Technician

Bridgewater / Taunton / Lufton

My client, one of the UK's leading Fleet Companies is looking to employ a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mobile Fitter for their Exeter branch to be ideally based in the Bridgwater / Taunton areas

As a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Fitter, you will:
·Ensure completion of mandatory scheduled inspections/calibrations
·Complete Planned Maintenance Inspections (PMI), light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles to ensure ongoing compliance and road worthiness
·Complete supporting paperwork to a high and accurate standard ensuring full compliance
·Attend breakdowns and repairs as required to support operational delivery
·Ensure the highest quality workshop/mobile service and repair on car, light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles

To be successful as a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Fitter you will:
·Hold City & Guilds or equivalent qualification within the relevant field or ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of skill
·HGV Technician experience
·Knowledge of Health and Safety Management
·Basic computer skills
·HGV Driving Licence desirable

This position for a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Fitter is working Monday to Friday and you are paid from the time you leave your home.

- Mobile Van provided
- Start / finish time - Flexible/TBC
- Daily Standby fee: £10 per day
- Fee per OOH callout: £15
- 25 days holiday
- Overtime payable at x 1.5 over above the standard 8 hours per day and Saturdays
