Experienced Mechanic & MOT Tester required for an Independent Garage based in Cobham.
Basic Salary: £30,000pa

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanic & MOT Tester to join a fantastic team in an independent garage based in Cobham.

As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records, all whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

We are looking for a Mechanic as you will also be expected to conduct MOT and vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards.

For this position it is crucial that you have a Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair and an active MOT Licence.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm 

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Mechanic & MOT Tester role:

·Level 3 (NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·Active and clean DVSA & MOT license
·Knowledge on current MOT standards
·Large independent dealership experience
·Full clean UK driving licence (No more than 3 points on licence)
·Ability to work as part of a team
·A genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
