HGV Trailer Technician

Location: Cardiff
Salary: £27,000pa up to £32,000pa + overtime at time and a half
(Flexible working hours to suit candidates)

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 01:00 (Day shift / 45 Hour Week)

My client is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious HGV Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Technician / Trailer Fitter, wanting to make the most out of their position in order to succeed and progress within one of Europe's largest trailer companies.

Duties & requirements for the successful HGV Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Technician / Trailer Fitter:

·Ability to service, repair & maintain trailers to a high standard within the company guidelines. and to conform to all current mandatory & EHS legislation.
·To ensure all service documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
·To report up to the Branch or Workshop Manager any defects relating to the tankers which could suggest a manufacturing issue with any of the components.
·To project a high customer service & corporate image at ALL times.
·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
