Job Role: HGV TECHNICIAN / HGV MECHANIC / HGV FITTER

Annual Earnings: Basic Salary of £49,400 + overtime to get to £55,000 - £60,000 annually

Hours: Monday - Thursday - 17:45 - 06:15

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Depot location: Alfreton, Derbyshire

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful Truck Dealer workshop in the Alfreton area.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic

·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
·Main dealer experience advantageous
·A commercial licence would be beneficial but isn't essential for this position
