Job Role: NIGHT SHIFT HGV TECHNICIAN / SUPERVISOR - 4 on 3 off - NO WEEKENDS
 
Salary: £52,000 basic salary + overtime to £60,000+
 
Hours: 17:45 - 06:15 Monday - Thursday
 
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
 
Depot location: Nottingham
 
Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful Truck Dealer workshop in the Nottingham area.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician
 
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
·Supervise other fitters on shift
·Book parts out of stores
·update all databases as required
·Prepare VOR reports for the day shift

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician
 
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
·Main dealer experience advantageous
·A commercial licence would be beneficial but isn't essential for this position
·Supervisory experience would be beneficial for this position
