HGV Technician

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £31,000 to £32,000 + Overtime

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 14:00 to 23:00

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Nottingham.

The HGV Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

· Required to work in busy Trailer/HGV workshop
·Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics
·Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly trailers but also HGV and LGV
·Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
·Driving license Essential


Required for this HGV Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
·Vehicle Inspections
·Correction / repair of vehicle defects
·Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
·MOT Preparation / Presentation
·Completion of all required paper work
·Experience working on Municipal Vehicles would be an advantage
