HGV Technician

We are looking for an HGV technician to work for a leading vehicle rental company, with ongoing training opportunities available, working days, Monday to Friday, paying up to 37k, within a friendly team.

HGV Technician Duties
Working as an HGV technician in this role would involve:
·Vehicle inspection, service and repair of LCV and Class 2 vehicles
·Preventative maintenance
·Completion of MOT prep
·Correct completion of job sheets and associated documentation
·Adherence to H+S procedures

HGV Technician Requirements
·Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanics (DAF/Mercedes would be an advantage but not essential)
·Ability to problem solve around a vehicle and work under own initiative
·Basic electrical fault-finding skills as a minimum
·Experience working as a mechanic on commercial vehicles
·Experience working on refrigerated vehicles would be a benefit but not essential
·City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum / IRTEC
