HGV Technician

Location: Birkenhead
Salary: £11 up to £13 per hour dependant on experience

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
Some Saturdays will be required as the business dictates.

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Birkenhead.

Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics. Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly trailers but also HGV and LGV.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
