HGV TECHNICIAN

Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £33,000pa up to £36,000pa + BONUS & OTE (dependant on experience)
Working hours (Late shifts):
Monday to Friday 15:00PM – 23:30PM

Our client, one of the largest municipal fleet companies is looking to employ an HGV Technician due to an ever-expanding work load.

The HGV technician role involves:
·Carry out Servicing and Repairs to customer vehicles and equipment
·Working closely with the Workshop Supervisors
·Completion of training when necessary
·Other general duties required by management
·Good workmanship is recognised and reported back by our customers

Required for this HGV Technician role:
·Previous experience in mechanics (preferably heavy vehicle)
·Qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferably heavy vehicle) eg City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
·Driving licence (preferably HGV)
·Computer literate
·Ability to work well under pressure
·Team player
·Ability to use own initiative
·Literacy and numeracy skills
·Attention to detail
·Problem solving skills
·Available for overtime
