HGV Technician

Location: Grimsby
Salary: £24,000pa up to £27,000pa + OTE
Working hours:
Early & late shifts (plus rotational Saturdays)

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a thriving workshop in Grimsby.

This is an opportunity for a technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.

·Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic looking to join one of the UK's leading workshops?
·Are you confident in your abilities to diagnose, repair and maintain HGV's to the highest standard? 

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 or equivalent  
·Class 1 or 2 licence
·Trailer experience
·Diagnostic experience
