HGV Technician

This is a late shift - 12:30 till 21:00 Monday to Friday
£13 - £14 an hour
Breakdown Rota £180 per week on Stand By

My client, one of the UK's largest family owned Commercial Vehicle Dealer Groups, is looking to employ a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter due to an ever expanding work load.

New HGV Technician - once probation completed, to go on breakdown van rota unless they are interested in this full time also.  Breakdown position pays £180.00 a week on standby, additional to normal salary.  Out of hours breakdowns are paid at double time.  Bank holidays are triple time if called out and an extra £20 a day stand by.

Loads of overtime available.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter general duties:

• Vehicle Inspections
• General Servicing 
• Correction / repair of vehicle defects
• Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
• MOT Preparation / Presentation
• Completion of all required paper work

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter must be fully qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level3 / IRTEC
