Monday – Thursday (Night shifts)   20:00 – 06:30

My client is one of the leading fleet management and hire companies in the UK,. They are a one Stop Shop for Commercial vehicle solutions, Rental Contract hire, Fleet management, Tyre management and Accident management

· Are you Level 3 or equivalent HGV Technician?
· Do you have a class 1 or 2 licence?
· Do you have Municipal experience?

The HGV technician role involves:

· Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
· Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
· Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
· Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
· Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
· Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
· Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
· Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
· To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Required for this HGV Technician role:

· Level 3 or equivalent  
· Class 1 or 2 licence
· Municipal experience
