HGV Technician

Our client is a leading independent logistics provider with a fleet of over 150 vehicles and 700 trailers, our client is looking for an enthusiastic HGV Technician to join their very successful workshop in Alloa.

This is a varied role where the right HGV Technician will learn valuable skills to progress their career.

Working as a HGV technician in this role will involve:
·Maintenance and repair of vehicles, trailers and ancillary equipment.
·Fault-finding on vehicles, trailers and equipment and replacing parts where necessary.
·MOT preparation and completion of associated paperwork.
The suitable HGV technician will have the following skills and experience:
·NVQ Level 3 Qualifications.
·Experience working on commercial vehicles.
·Experience working on trailers and tail-lifts is a benefit but not essential as full training will be given.
·A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new vehicles and equipment is essential.

Pay Scale: £12.00 to £13.55 DOE – 45hrs a week
