HGV TECHNICIAN


Experienced HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop in Preston.
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000

Our client offers a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles, buses, coaches and industrial engines to operators and companies in the UK.

·Are you a confidently skilled technician looking to join one of the UK's leading workshops?
·Are you a level 3 HGV Technician?
·Do you hold a class 1 or 2 HGV Licence?

Shift Patterns: 4 ON 4 OFF
06:00 - 18:00 or 07:00 - 19:00

The main responsibilities for the HGV Technician will be to undertake maintenance and repair activities on commercial vehicles of all types, to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and effect permanent and complete repairs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for this HGV Technician role:
·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance and Repair.
·A can-do attitude, confidence and commitment.
·Flexible approach to work and a full understanding of customer satisfaction.
·A genuine interest in ensuring you and your service team perform at the best of their ability.
·Full clean UK Driving Licence. Class 1 or 2 license is an advantage.

The successful HGV Technician will benefit from a Volkswagen Car Loan Scheme (after 6 months probation), on site parking, uniform and a pension.
