HGV Technician

Our client due to expansion is recruiting a HGV Technician to join the workforce at their state of the art prestigious Commercial depot in Swansea.

You must be a fully qualified HGV Technician with either city & guilds or NVQ qualification or equivalent and own tools.

The role of the HGV Technician is to work within the workshop dealing with repair and service of commercial vehicles in a timely manner and within ministry standards, it's a busy workshop so plenty of opportunity for Overtime and this company actively encourages ongoing brand training and is constantly improving working environments, offers great support and does not have a big staff turnaround.

Excellent opportunity for a good HGV Technician, wanting to grow, earn incentives, gain further training and progression.

Experience on vans or Light Commercial vehicles will also be considered.

C or C + E driving Licence advantageous but not essential.

The HGV Technician will operate on a rotating shift system of 6:00am - 14:00pm and then 14:00pm to 22:00pm Monday to Friday.
Alternating Saturday from 08:00 am - 13:00pm paid at time and a half.

They are offering a starting pay of £12.40 per hour, so you have the opportunity to earn much more if you wish by adding overtime at time and a half at your convenience.
